On creating sacred motion

I was asked for some advice this weekend. My advice is usually the same, and stolen from a great mentor of mine

“Ship fast! Just ship it, you’ll have to launch twice/thrice/etc!”

But, as I’m thinking about the advice I just gave, on this Sunday, while correct, I think it needs something else. Which makes sense cause it wasn’t mine; it was my mentors!

So here’s mine: Be a live player

Def’n: A live player, once they know what they need to do, does nothing but that thing

They ship the thing today. They send the email today. They learn the lesson today.

Whatever you are delaying, stop doing that.

Any delay you inject into the system is a delay you are injecting into your learning rate.

Once you know how to turn the wheel, stop fucking around and just turn it.

Tomorrow is created by those who move today.
